In order to be W3C standards compliant, easier for the user, and for you, file names on the web should:
- be lower case
- separate words with dashes
- avoid special characters, spaces, and capitalization
- be descriptive but succinct
correct example
- buckminster-fuller.html
incorrect example
- Buckminster Fuller#.html
I would use this rule for everything on the web including html, css, scripts, images, folders.
